Dog Vaccines

  • DA2PPv: Prevents various canine diseases. Puppies receive a series of adults yearly.
  • Bordetella: Prevents canine cough, administered yearly.
  • Rabies: Mandatory for California law on dogs over 3 months.

Cat Vaccines

  • HCP: Shields against feline diseases. Kittens receive a series of adults yearly.
  • FeLV: Guards against feline leukemia virus. The initial vaccine is repeated in 3 weeks, then every 2 years for outdoor or at-risk cats.
  • Rabies: Recommended for all cats over 16 weeks.

Deworming

  • Pyrantel Pamoate: Treats hookworms and roundworms. Repeat in 3 weeks. Yearly fecal testing is advised.

Microchips

  • HomeAgain Microchip: Includes lifetime enrollment. Provides permanent ID for easy scanning in case your pet is lost. It's not GPS, but it's crucial for reunification.

LOW-COST SPAY, NEUTER & VACCINE CLINIC 

At Haven Animal Hospital, we offer low-cost spay, neuter, vaccinations, flea prevention, microchipping, and deworming by appointment.

Our working hours vary but please call us Tuesday-Saturday for questions . We are closed for lunch daily from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
